Pit Babe (Thai BL) – Episode 6 Recap & Review

Babe’s Boyfriend and The New Member of Team X Hunter

Episode 6 of Pit Babe starts at the Hallows during the race to decide who replaces Babe between Dean and Charlie. Charlie is more stressed out since he is sure he cannot win against Babe, but Babe encourages him not to give up and gives him a gift of driving gloves with Charlie’s name engraved. As expected of the King of the Hallows, he leaves Charlie and Dean far behind and wins the race, with Charlie coming second. Charlie thinks he has no chance but to join X Hunter, but Alan surprises him by agreeing to let him join the team.

Dean confronts Alan about his decision, irritated that he let a stranger join the big race. He thinks that Alan does not value him, but Alan tells him he chose Charlie because he is brave and decisive, unlike Dean. No one can teach Dean to be bold, and no matter how hard he trains, he will never be as good enough as Babe if his heart is still afraid.

Alan asks for Charlie’s help getting Jeff to reconcile. Charlie sends him the location of Jeff’s favourite café. Meanwhile, Way voices his dissatisfaction with Babe’s decision to let Charlie race for him. Previously, Babe would never have allowed Charlie to race since he values practice most and Charlie is not experienced. Babe insists that Charlie is good, but Way is not convinced. Elsewhere, Alan tries to apologise to Jeff’s old school using a song request from a DJ. His sweet gesture pays off, and Jeff agrees to try to open up his heart and get to know Alan.

Babe takes Charlie to his secret spot later that night to celebrate him joining the team. Charlie gets jealous of any person Babe might have taken at the spot to watch the stars. Babe assures him that Charlie is the only one. Babe asks Charlie to be his boyfriend, and Charlie suddenly asks if Babe ever wants to have children.

The question surprises Babe because since they are both Alphas, they cannot conceive. Only Omegas can get pregnant. Charlie wants to know if Babe intends to have a family regardless of whether Charlie is an Alpha or an Enigma. Later, they recreate their first meeting, but this time, it is about making love and not making a deal to get a racing car. Elsewhere, Pete watches Way getting drunk over a broken heart at the bar.

The next morning, North and Sonic excitedly discuss Charlie joining the team. They watched the video, and the statistics show that Charlie is the better driver. Dean starts a fight with North and Sonic, forcing Alan to intervene and ban him from the garage and the training field for a week. However, he feels conflicted about the decision, but talking to Jeff helps him believe his decision is right. He asks Jeff about his dream, and Jeff’s answer amuses him.

Jeff’s dream is to sleep well, not have to know about other people’s lives and live a peaceful life. Alan calls Jeff “kid” like he always does, but Jeff tells him to stop, to which Alan asks if he wants Alan to call him “darling” instead. Alan’s response leaves Jeff speechless, and he suddenly walks out. Alan follows him to his car and insists on Jeff going with him to Charlie’s party.

Babe takes Charlie to his father’s old house. He says he repurchased it and has been considering tearing it down, but he could not decide what to do with it. He brings Charlie to the house to help him decide what to do. Charlie first thinks that Babe’s decision will turn out great but then suggests they open a café. Charlie talks Babe into taking photos with him and posts them on his private Instagram.

At the party, Babe calls Jeff aside to apologise for treating him poorly when he thought he and Charlie were together. Jeff warns Babe to play with Charlie’s feelings since he is not like his other playboys, whom he could get rid of as other “Babe’s boys.” Jeff touches Babe and gets another vision, and his reaction shows fear.

Alan and the team get Charlie to spill about their relationship status at the party. Alan congratulates them on becoming a couple but warns them to ensure their work is unaffected; otherwise, he will fire both of them. Way walks from the table as everyone else takes a shot, cheerfully celebrating Charlie and Babe. Babe follows him, but Way thinks that Babe wants to pick a fight.

Way opens up, saying he stayed by Babe’s side all this time, thinking that Babe will see his feelings and reciprocate with time. However, time didn’t help, and instead, Babe took someone he had known for a few months and made him more important than Way. Way walks out and cries in his car, remembering his heart-fluttering moments with Babe. At the end of the episode, Way throws away a necklace he got from Babe.
