About Us

Beginning as a simple film review blog site, TheReviewGeek has grown and evolved over the years to include more of the content our audiences are interested in. Established in May 2017 by Greg Wheeler, TheReviewGeek steadily grew its influence in the field of reviewing through a combination of full season TV show reviews, film reviews and later video game and album reviews.

Since then, the site has grown from moderate obscurity into one of the main players in the world of TV show and film reviews, with more recent months, including January 2023, seeing highs of 4 million visitors and over 7 million page views. Since then, we’ve comfortably been hitting page views of between 2-4 million every month.

TheReviewGeek’s reviews have featured in The Express, The Sun, Radio Times,  Essentiallysports, whats-on-netflix, tomatazoes, Decider, IDNTimes, entretenimento, Dramabeans, Wikipedia and more.

Advertising With Us

Our banner adverts and other advertising content is conducted through Adthrive, whom we work with as our Ad Management Team. However, we do allow direct deals where our ad inventory can be reserved specifically for your brand. We have sticky footer banners across both desktop and mobile which get viewability rates of 95% a month.

Our homepage receives a lot of views every month, regularly hitting within the top 3 pages across each month. This has been a consistent trend for the previous 7 months running. With that in mind, TheReviewGeek is pleased to allow Homepage Takeovers too, which is a fantastic opportunity to get your brand seen by a lot of people.

If you’re an advertiser looking to advertise with us, do feel free to send us an email and we can go over the specifics.

Generally, we would look at the date range of that specific campaign, the goal number of impressions required and how many ad units would be required at any given time. We do have additional questions but would go into this in more detail when required.

Sponsored Posts & Guest Posts

At this present time, we are currently not hosting sponsored articles or paid guest posts on TheReviewGeek. If this changes in the future, we will be sure to update this page but please do not email us about this as it will be flagged by our spam filter and ignored.
