From Russia With Love
Brian is a little overly excited about going live on Instagram during episode 19 of Family guy season 21. Of course, nobody pays attention. While live, he gets all sorts of unwanted attendees who have little to nothing to add to the conversation. However, one of them promises to help get him the IG blue check, citing his popularity as a writer.
Meanwhile, Lois and Peter are going on a double date with Quagmire and his friend, Stephanie. Lois recognizes Stephanie as her junior high bully and before she got beautiful, she was a nerd who suffered from scoliosis.
While Brian’s bragging about his Instagram, Stewie informs him that he might have been hacked since the check sign is green rather than blue. To everyone’s surprise, Meg apparently has it to help find Brian’s hacker. As per her investigation, the hacker is from Russia. Meg and Brian, along with Stewie, decide to go to Russia to find the hacker despite the ongoing bar.
Lois is informed by Dr Hartman that she might be suffering from Severe Nerd Damage. That is, every past nerd is one joke away from going back to that same, uncomfortable spot in life.
In Russia, the group follows the length of the ethernet cable and the hacker is found. The guy tells them that hacking Brian’s profile was just a way for him to feel the good American lifestyle. The group is understanding of his situation.
During a pool party, post an altercation with Stephanie, Lois learns that Stephanie actually never bullied her. In fact, she respected Lois for steering through hardships with courage and has even started a foundation to help kids with scoliosis.
Meg informs Brian and Stewie that she would be staying back in Russia because she has finally found the love of her life. Yes, it’s the hacker! Back home, the Griffin family is doing good, and as usual, things are back to normal even without Meg (sorry Meg!).
The Episode Review
Undoubtedly, this is one of the most entertaining episodes in recent years. What’s noteworthy is the fact that the story is not actually the backbone here, but it’s the way the dialogues have been written.
The situations are ordinary, but the comments made by the characters make it seem hysterical. The rare trio of Brian, Meg, and Stewie deliver a clap-worthy performance too and hopefully we will see more of them as a dream team in the future!

Shitting on every day people and women’s appearance (who are known to be the one of the most attractive in the world) in a lame attempt at a joke that screams insecurity and jealosy. A shit episode clearly showing that there is no more talent left. I am not saying what Russia is doing right now is right but this was obviously was made to please a Ukranian crew member. We dont want a cartoon shoving their politics. Its an entertainment show..should stick to that.
