As a consequence, he approves of Jacque.

While all of this is going on, Mavis’ closest friends also face difficulties. Khalil expresses a sincere desire to get to know India and her kid. By teaching her son to skate, he ends up spending quality time with him. Meanwhile, Marley starts having intimate relationships with women.

The same evening, Jacque pays Mavis a visit. Episode 7 comes to a close when he inquires about Luca.

The Episode Review

Mavis’ realization of what she wants out of life is the main theme of episode 7 of Survival of the Thickest. Jacque’s willingness to help her in achieving all of her goals is her justification for choosing him. Additionally, her parents provide the prodding she needs to move forward.

For the first time, it feels like the Netflix show has come out from its fairytale-like delusion in this episode, which is more grounded in reality than the previous ones. Jacque’s question to Mavis about Luca brings the episode to a close. It will be interesting to see how things develop moving forward.
