Survival of the Thickest – Season 1 Episode 6 Recap & Review

Do the Right Thang, Bitch

In episode 6 of Survival of the Thickest, Mavis is given the chance to start working for Nicole Byer, who at present plans to launch a collection of lingerie for thicker women, shortly after Luca leaves. Mavis is the ideal candidate to assist Nicole with the finishing touches for her models.

Later on, Mavis finds out that Natasha and she are receiving a Webby Award to honor their popular video. Nicole’s lingerie collection launches on the exact same day as the ceremony. Mavis does not allow the obstacle to discourage her. Her well-being suffers as a consequence though. Additionally, her bond with Luca is strained due to her hectic schedule and insufficient sleep.

He considers offering her a flight ticket to Italy as a present to give her a vacation and help her get over her present predicament. This step overwhelms Mavis, who starts to question everything. Natasha offers her an attractive deal to be her personal stylist only, forcing Mavis to pick her. Mavis then decides not to work for her because she prefers her own happiness to Natasha’s.

After learning that Nicole’s lingerie launch serves as a one-time event while Natasha’s agreement could have changed her life, Mavis subsequently regrets her choice.

In the midst of all of this, Mavis’ companion Khalil deals with his own difficulties. As he begins dating India, he begins to take relationships seriously for the very first time. He genuinely wants to get to know her and her kid. India, on the other hand, is protective of her kid and doesn’t want Khalil to spend time with him just yet.

As time begins to run out, Mavis experiences an acute panic attack, which prompts her to realize that she must make some difficult choices for her life.
