Renewed Or Cancelled?
Obliterated is the latest action comedy hybrid on Netflix, with plenty of raunchy jokes, shocking moments and a lot of drama.
So, after watching season 1 in its entirety, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Obliterated season 1 about?
Created by the minds behind Cobra Kai, Obliterated is a rip-roaring comedy that hangs off a basic premise and throws absolutely everything and the kitchen sink to see what sticks. The protagonist here is Ava Winters, who leads an eccentric group of misfits as they try to stop a Russian terrorist from launching a nuke in Las Vegas.
Joining Ava is Chad McKnight (the typical macho guy), Angela (the lesbian sniper), Trunk (the hired muscle with a soft spot for food), Paul (the level-headed family man), Maya Lerne (the geeky tech chick) and Hagerty (the drug obsessed bomb technician).
This ragtag group find themselves embroiled in a massive conspiracy that threatens to destroy the US completely. Unfortunately, a wild night of drinking, drugs and sex causes everyone to be in various states of inebriation which just makes the mission that much harder. Cue hilarity to ensue.

Has Obliterated been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Obliterated has not been renewed for season 2.
Generally Netflix would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made.
So far, Obliterated has had a pretty polarizing reaction from critics and audiences alike, with some really liking and others really hating this one.
Given the way this show is set up, we’re predicting that this will not be renewed for a second season. The series does have a conclusive end and while there is room to grow, we would imagine that drop-off rate is going to be quite high for this one.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point as Netflix haven’t officially renewed this one. Should it be renewed, we’d imagine that the whole gang will be back with another mission. Perhaps we could see them tackle North Korea, China or another superpower with a world-ending threat.
