The Out-Laws 2
Currently streaming on Netflix is The Out-Laws, a new comedy about a slightly repressed bank manager who begins to suspect his soon-to-be in-laws could also be The Ghost Bandits, a bank-robbing duo that recently targetted the place where he works.
Adam DeVine, Pierce Brosnan, Ellen Barkin, and Julie Hagerty are among the cast but despite the considerable talents of all involved, the movie isn’t a very good one due to its unfunny script and nonsensical plotting.
A sequel could fix the mistakes of its predecessor but will we ever get to see The Out-Laws 2? Here’s what we know:
What is The Out-Laws about?
Adam DeVine headlines the cast as Owen Browning, a manager of a small bank who is about to get married to his long-time girlfriend, Parker McDermott (Nina Dobrev). He tries and fails to get along with his prospective in-laws (Brosnan and Barkin) but as strained as their relationship is, things become even more awkward when he suspects they might be the people who recently robbed his bank.
Owen contacts the FBI with his suspicions and is then led into one predicament after another when his wedding plans are disrupted by a mysterious criminal organization with links to his in-laws.

Will there be The Out-Laws 2?
A sequel to The Out-Laws has not yet been announced. The chances of a sequel will likely depend on viewing figures and critical reception.
At the time of writing, The Out-Laws is the most-watched movie on Netflix, so the chances of a sequel could be high. But as the movie has also been slated by critics, this might deter the streaming giant from moving forward with a sequel.
As such, we are on the fence about this one. If Netflix does green-light a sequel, we hope they insist on a better script as The Out-Laws can in no way be considered a good movie, despite its current popularity.

What could happen in The Out-Laws 2?
Owen and his wife will likely get dragged into another bank robbery in the sequel and they might even be forced to go on the run as ‘outlaws’ with the in-laws. The criminal gang from the first movie, and the FBI agent who was involved in the bank robbing case, might be the ones in pursuit. Alternatively, Netflix subscribers, disappointed by the movie they helped pay for, might be the people giving chase in an attempt to get their money back!

I really liked the movie! I don’t understand why you say it wasn’t done well? It’s funny! I want to see another, and I loved the writing. I’m shocked that this article is saying otherwise. Did you watch the same movie I did? I hope they make another one!
