Killer Soup – Season 1 Episode 6 Recap & Review

Episode 6

Episode 6 of Killer Soup begins with Kirtima filming the fight from outside. The gunshot heard was fired at Arvind. He remembers his wife as everyone rushes him to the hospital. The situation is tense.

Lucas confronts Swathi and tries to choke her. Swathi’s cooking teacher and her friend squabble over money while Hassan arrives there to enquire about the mysterious woman. He tries to play an emotional card on her to get information.

Swathi and Umesh pay the bills at the hospital. Swathi frets over Lucas and the consequences as police round everyone up to take a statement. Apeksha presents a fabricated story to the police, while the latter cross question everyone else present. Umesh launches into an animated narration of events but Apeksha confesses that she shot him. Hassan wants to go and investigate the mysterious woman but his superior does not let him. Just then he begins to hallucinate about Thupalli and finds another clue.

Arvind is being operated upon and Hassan waits by the steps. Swathi meets an old friend, who is a doctor, and enquires about Arvind. Hassan runs up to the doctor but just misses him. Swathi asks about Apeksha’s statement and Hassan gives a diplomatic answer. She mentions that Hassan can leave and she will inform her after Arvind’s surgery is done.

Arvind’s surgery is successful and he wil be put in for observation. Swathi sneaks into Arvind’s room and thinks to kill him. The doctor tells her that Arvind’s survival chances are very low. Kirtima arrives at the hospital and Swathi verbally attacks her. Kirtima tells Swathi about her and Prabhakar’s affair and she is fired by Swathi.

Hassan attempts to sneak into Arvind’s ward and talk to her. Asha tries to distract the doctor until Hassan is done, but Arvind talks in his sleep and goes critical after Hassan takes away his oxygen mask. Asha finds Umesh Pillai’s photo at the hospital. Swathi cleans up the carpet and longingly looks at the cash.

Hassan visits the cooking teacher but she is away. Hassan looks into the ingredients and questions the other lady. Things are tense after the Arvind incident. The lady describes Swathi, and Hassan connects the dots.

Umesh is frustrated at Swathi’s approach toward Arvind and the situation. The two fight over the matter as Hassan arrives. He keeps all the evidence in front of Umesh and Swathi, claiming that the latter is the mysterious woman. Hassan calls them out instantly. Umesh has a panic attack amidst all the chaos. It is also revealed that Arvind is fine now. He settles the matter with the superior and Hassan.

Everyone makes a show of being happy at Arvind. He asks Apeksha to stay and calls her close. They have a little heart to heart moment, where he tells her to pursue her dreams at art school. Arvind tells that she looks exactly like her mother and then passes away.

The episode comes to a conclusion with a wailing Apeksha at his bedside and Umesh receiving the video recording from Kirtima.

The Episode Review

Kirtima’s character is definitely upping the game here. She is definitely going to be a pain point in the forthcoming episodes while Arvind is no more. What will Apeksha do next? Will she go to France as she had planned? What will happen to Rising Sun?
