Killer Soup – Season 1 Episode 7 Recap & Review

Episode 7

Episode 7 of Killer Soup begins with a festive mode but it is a memorial party for Arvind. Lucas and Swathi join hands to erase evidence against her.

Swathi stirs a soup pot with a sinister expression on her face while the police hastily leave somewhere. Umesh receives a threatening text from Kirtima as Surya visits the memorial and discusses business with Apeksha.

Swathi’s cooking teacher arrives at the memorial and threatens Swathi that she will come clean to the police. People at the memorial suffer after drinking the soup Swathi made.

The lawyer Satish arrives at the house to read Arvind’s will and all his assets are passed to Apeksha. The Chennai deal is also finalized. Others are given some things but only Umesh and Swathi are left with nothing.

Police raid the premises and take Swathi’s cooking teacher away. Kirtima threatens Umesh again and she tries to talk some sense into him. The police think that the cooking teacher has something to do with the mysterious woman so Swathi gets her bail and bribes her to not disclose her identity. Swathi finds from Sandy that Umesh might be with Kirtima.

Apeksha and Surya discuss the deal over some champagne. She refuses the deal and has her eye set on France. Hassan verifies videos from Nadar’s office and hallucinates about Thupalli again. Nadar’s mother is traumatized after Lucas threatens her and Hassan tries to console her. Swathi and Kiritma meet and discuss.

Kirtima asks Swathi to divorce Prabhakar (Umesh) while Umesh comes from behind and tries to choke Kirtima. However, he manages to escape. Swathi points a gun at her but Kirtima falls from the ledge and dies.

Hassan investigates further according to Thupalli’s notes. Lucas arrives at Kirtima’s house and Umesh hides himself. Hassan arrives at a barn, to find what Lucas took from Nadar. Lucas and Swathi conspire to plant all evidence at Kirtima’s house painting her as the mystery woman. Hassan’s evidence does not work as the photos are destroyed.

Apeksha tells Swathi that perhaps Arvind was right when he told her that she was only running away from the house. She apologises to Swathi for all the misbehaviour from Arvind’s end and hands her the keys to her restaurant. Kirtima’s body is being taken away, Umesh arrives at the scene and Swathi heads her way – all drenched in rain as the episode comes to a close.

The Episode Review

Poor Kirtima! Swathi proved that she will do anything to achieve her goal – including joining hands with her enemy. That was quite the turns of events, right? With just one episode to go, there will be a lot to look forward to. Perhaps the characters will meet their ends, or get lucky and escape again.
