Family Guy – Season 22 Episode 10 “Cabin Pressure” Recap & Review

Cabin Pressure

As Episode 10 of Season 22 of Family Guy starts, the Griffin family is seen at Peter’s brewery company picnic. Peter shows his family the people he’s been grumbling about for the past 8 years. Peter’s boss, Preston, informs the prize for the main event (Aerial Ovum Transfer/Egg Toss) is a five-night stay in Maine at his cabin. The Griffins win the main event bagging the family trip to Maine.

Peter suggests inviting his friends and their families to the vacation. In Maine, everything is set and everyone is having a great time. However, it’s not long before Peter starts feeling sidelined.

Quagmire informs everyone that the main toilet is clogged. Since there is no plunger, Quagmire wants to find the person who did it so the person responsible can punch the stool into the toilet. A self-conscious Lois confesses to Peter that it was her who clogged the toilet and requests him to take the blame for her. Peter agrees.

On the second day, the group goes out cycling in the morning, and Peter cooks for everyone later in the afternoon. Upon Peter’s wish, the group goes to catch the bear show. However, they are informed the place is closed for good due to animal cruelty complaints.

Back at the cabin, an upset Peter reveals it was Lois who clogged the toilet. Peter angrily tells everyone that he doesn’t value anyone. The only reason he is still friends with them is because they share the same street.

In a fit of rage, Peter accidentally sets the house on fire. The fire is put out, but the cabin has suffered great damage. Peter seeks his friends’ help, but they decide to leave in light of Peter’s revelation of his feelings towards them.

Preston tells Peter he is coming to his cabin to deliver more towels. Poor Peter is scared out of his wits. However, his friends get back just in time to help him fix the cabin.

They fail to fix the cabin, but it turns out Preston isn’t mad about Peter wrecking his cabin since he will be getting insurance money. Finally, as always, everything is back to normal.
