The Servant and the Imposter
Over in Round City, our first task is to track down and find Qabiha. First things first, we need to use our Eagle to pinpoint the exact location.Â
Point the Eagle north east toward the temple (pictured above). Attempt to interact with the door but you’ll be told to leave.
Thankfully, there’s a bench just to the left round the corner of this where you’ll be able to sit and eavesdrop on the conversation inside. There are new Eunuch’s arriving at the palace, so that’s a perfect disguise for us to sneak into Harem.
Use your Eagle once more from the bench’s location, and this time face south and west to find the two markers we need to investigate.
At the marker to the south, you’ll find a freshly tailored uniform to wear. Similarly, to the west you’ll also find a uniform. Whichever one you choose to go for (south is faster and closer so we’d recommend going for that one), head for the booth outside Harem to get changed.
After getting into your disguise, interact with the door and you’ll be granted access. Head forward and try to get into Qabiha’s office.
Makira will show and figure out your game but you’ll make a deal with her. She wants a “magic potion” and thankfully that’s nearby.
Check the woman patrolling the area and steal the potion from her possession, being sure to stay crouched and biding your time.Â
Meanwhile, the make-up is in one of the rooms off to the west side of Harem. Head inside, push the shelf to the side and collect from the shelf.
Predictably, that was a little too easy so Makira will task you with getting a rare book next, off in a restricted area that requires you to cross a guard-infested rooftop balcony area.
When you step through the door, hurry past the first guard (he won’t follow if you go fast enough because the AI in Mirage is terrible) and crouch down as you turn the corner. Wait for the next guard to turn around and pass them, moving to the right through the tall grass.
There’s a good deal of cover here, coming in the form of blue flowers to the right, so use this to time your move. Hang on the balcony and shimmy round to the other side, that way you can take out the heavy guard with an assassination.
However, this death is optional, as you need to continue from the broken balcony by turning around and hopping over the beams, round the corner and into the open window.
Grab the book, and you’ll also find a Loot Chest in here holding 27x Steel Ingot, 9x Leather and 4x Components.
Unbar the door if you wish but it’s advisable to go back out the window, down into the courtyard and through the front door again to avoid the guards.
Return the book to Makira and then you’ll need to return the potion. Head back and place this on her, before finally getting the key.
Inside the office, go and investigate the desk, where you’ll find that familiar hairpin that belongs to Ning.
There’s also a map and another book to investigate. Finally, there’s a perfume bottle on the dresser. With all of this done, head out the office and Makira will reveal her true intentions.
She’s staged the death of Farah and is loyal to Qabiha who seems to have gone. Basim is shocked but he’ll leave, one step closer to his goal.
