What Does It Mean To Be A Woman?

Episode 9 of Alpha Males season 2 begins with Pedro getting into a heated argument with Carla over creative liberties regarding the alpha male series. This leads to Carla storming out of the room in anger. Carla soon returns with the rest of the team to discuss the issue, but Pedro remains stubborn, and they are forced to leave without resolution.

Daniela is also in the office and informs Pedro’s colleagues about the surprising birthday party she is planning to throw for Pedro. She also asks Pedro’s team to contact Daniela and let her know she is invited. Santi’s day starts off poorly as he is called into Ramon’s office and receives the tragic news of his dismissal.

Ramon warns Santi that if he resists, Paula will press charges for leaking an explicit video of her. Raul steps in and hires a lawyer to help Santi out of trouble with the LGBTQ community. The lawyer assures them that she will get Santi his job back and compensation, stating that Santi’s termination is wrongful as he was fired for coming out as a woman.

Despite not wanting any fuss, Santi feels intimidated by his lawyer, who wants to make this case a national issue. On the other hand, Raul is doing his utmost to reconcile with Luz. This includes cooking her food and even refusing to leave her house, even when Luz is dozing off or absent.

This behavior annoys Esther, leading her to frequently badmouth Raul. Raul’s absence from his restaurant also has a negative impact on his business, leaving Diego to handle everything on his own. Raul doesn’t care, as impressing Luz is the most important thing to him. As for Luis, he plans to take Esther to a swinger club where people have sex with strangers.

They visit the club, but the experience doesn’t go well. They then hear about a place where people can be intimate in the parking lot, but Esther ends up being robbed. Meanwhile, Santi’s case becomes a huge issue, with a ton of protestors gathering at Ramon’s office to protest against discrimination against a trans woman.

Santi’s lawyer also arranges for an interview with a TikToker who advocates for such issues. In response, Paula decides to press charges against Santi for sharing the videos. As the episode nears its end, everyone surprises Pedro with a nice birthday party attended by everyone, including Pedro’s colleagues and even his now-sober brother.

Angela is also there. Pedro and Angela sit down for a conversation where Angela mocks and blames him for filing a complaint against her despite knowing that she was genuinely attracted to him. Moreover, Angela even gifts Pedro a pepper spray so he feels safe walking alone down the road at night.

Trouble brews between Daniela and Pedro when she learns that he had reported Angela, resulting in her losing her job. Pedro also opens up about his infertility issues, revealing that his sperm mobility is low.
