Alpha Males- Season 2 Episode 8 Recap & Review

I’m Straight

Episode 8 of Alpha Males season 2 begins with Pedro having breakfast with his friends, who give him pointers on how to improve his sperm count. Luis suggests Pedro needs to eat a lot of carrots for creatine, while Santi advises Pedro never to put his phone in his back pocket. During the conversation, Santi learns that he can track his iPhone with the “Find My iPhone” app. 

Once again, Pedro advises Santi to delete the video, while Raul is heartbroken upon learning that Luz is getting a hysterectomy. Meanwhile, Esther is losing her mind, believing that Luis might be gay. Like everything else in her life, she shares this with Luz and is advised to either hire a detective or ask Luis directly about his sexual preferences.

As the episode progresses, Pedro tries every trick in the book to improve his sperm count. We see him buying herbal medicine and trying homemade remedies. Additionally, Pedro rearranges his wardrobe with underwear and pajamas that aren’t too tight and uncomfortable in delicate places if you catch the drift. 

At the same time, Santi is having trouble logging into his iCloud account because he forgot his password. Santi drives to his office in the middle of the night to access his iCloud account and deletes the video. However, he remembers Raul’s words and makes a copy just in case. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t get deleted and ends up on the computer of another employee.

Soon, the video becomes public, and everyone learns about what’s going on between Paula and Santi. Roman calls Santi into the office and demands an explanation before he decides to throw both Santi and his project out of the office. Santi can’t find any excuse to save himself and claims he’s a woman going through a tough time.

At their usual meeting place, during a game of paddle, Santi confides in his friends about his plight. He tells them how he froze up and ended up telling his boss that he is a woman. Meanwhile, Raul gets into trouble as he drinks too much and ends up spending the night with a gay man. Additionally, he ends up making plans for another day as well. However, Raul makes it clear to the man that he’s straight as they come. 

We also see Raul visiting Luz in the hospital after her hysterectomy, bringing her chocolates and flowers. Esther also comes to see Luz and leaves her kids with Luz so she can catch Luis in the act while he attends the gay fraternity party.

However, since it is exclusively for guys, she is kicked out. Esther shows Luis’ picture to some drunk men, and they lie about being with Luis, confirming Esther’s suspicion. Once at home, she confronts Luis, and he tries to convince her that he has never visited the club.

As the episode nears its end, Pedro meets his estranged addict brother, who immediately asks Pedro why he called to meet. Pedro throws a question, asking his brother about the potency of his semen, marking the end of the episode.

The Episode Review

Episode 8 of Alpha Males is a rollercoaster of mishaps and misunderstandings. Pedro tries quirky ways to improve his sperm count, while Santi’s iCloud blunder exposes his affair.

Raul’s drunken escapade leads to him crossing over to the gay territory, while Esther suspects Luis to be already homosexual. The episode is packed with laughs, surprises, and awkward moments, keeping us roped in its quirky characters and their equally quirky lives.
