Castlevania: Nocturne – Season 1 Episode 6 “Guilty Men to be Judged” Recap & Review

Guilty Men to be Judged

At the beginning of Castlevania: Nocturne Season 1 Episode 6, Erzsebet Bathory, the Messiah, finally shows up. However, prior to this, Annette is shown making an attempt to confront the Abbot, her father. Drolta, who is a representative of the Messiah, is watching.

When the Messiah finally arrives, the vampires and other night creatures that have been waiting for her treat her like a queen.

Soon after that, Erzsebet delivers a monologue in which she expresses her desire to kill Ra, the Sun. She stresses on the fact that they won’t have to be scared of the sun as a consequence. This is followed by the revelation that Ra is actually her biological father. The Messiah is revealed to be the personification of Sekhmet, an Egyptian goddess.

Now we cut to Richter, who is having a confrontation with his grandfather. Following this, his grandfather goes on to tell him his tragic tale, wherein his spouse and best friend were murdered by a vampire. As the most powerful sorcerer in the Belmont family, he also describes the profound impact of losing his magical abilities.

Following that, Annette takes centre stage and calls upon Cecile and her ancestors. Cecile knocks some sense into Annette when she displays disappointment in Richter. She also encourages Annette to pay attention to her ancestors since they have something to offer beyond idle chatter.

Edouard, now in conversation with Jacque, a revolutionary, takes the stage. It’s encouraging to know that Jacque has some recollection of his past and that Edouard isn’t the only emotional night creature.

There is then a touching scene between Richter and his grandfather. Soon after, his grandfather excuses himself to pee. Vampires then strike, tying up Richter’s grandfather. Maria, Tera, and Annette are among the people who fill Richter’s thoughts. At this point, Richter regains grip on magic and slaughters the vampires.
