Who is Terry Morrison?
Terry Morrison is a middle-aged African American man who was arrested for persistently stalking and abusing his former girlfriend. Terry, who grew up in Dallas, Texas, was rebellious from an early age, likely influenced by a rugged childhood marked by witnessing his father’s abuse towards his mother and siblings. This rough upbringing led Terry to flee home at the age of 17.
What happened between Terry and Sadie?
Terry, then 54, met Sadie, an independent white woman, on an online dating website. Terry was employed at a restaurant at that time and often invited her to dinner. At first, Terry came out as a really nice guy, someone Sadie could rely on in times of crisis. In 2013, Terry faced a financial hurdle and had to move in with Sadie when he was kicked out of his apartment after falling behind on rent.
This was the time when Sadie learned Terry’s true nature: possessive and controlling. Their relationship turned sour, and when Sadie told Terry that she wanted to split, things turned violent. While Sadie slept, Terry shoved her off the bed. In another instance, Terry climbed on her and tried to choke Sadie to death. Waking up with a black eye became a routine for Sadie.
Eventually, Sadie left the house and moved in with her daughter. In retaliation, Terry destroyed her belongings and sent hundreds of threatening messages. Moreover, Terry kept leaving messages for Sadie on her cousin’s phone. Terry knew when Sadie visited her grandchildren or when she returned to her house.
Fearing for her life, Sadie went into hiding and also got a restraining order against Terry. Terry tried to meet Sadie again but was taken to the county jail for violating the restraining order. He was released soon after but was again put in cuffs for threatening the police.
Where is Terry Morrison now?
In his car were incriminating evidence and letters that showed the extent of Terry’s obsession. In one of the letters, Terry mentioned buying a gun only to kill Sadie. Terry was booked on several counts of aggravated stalking and sentenced to four years in prison.
During the investigation, it was also found that Terry was a suspect in a murder investigation, but the case never made it to trial and was eventually dropped due to lack of evidence. However, when Sadie revealed to the officers that Terry had once confessed to killing a woman.
Sadie’s testimony was more than enough to implicate Terry in the murder of Pristina Tyner. The charges against Terry were proven, and he was given a life sentence in June 2018, plus another sentence to serve 100 years. Terry is currently in jail at the South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri., serving his rigorous sentencing.

I just watched I am a stalker on Netflix and the Terry Morrison guy gave me the creeps immediately. I think Terry lied about 75% of the time when it came to owning up to what he done. He is still in denial! Things like this are the reason I refuse to get onto online dating sites. If Sadie hadn’t taken the steps she did, I believe Terry would have killed her. I hope and pray this animal is never released from prison, because if he is, not only will Sadie be killed, but I’m sure Terry will take as many people down with him as possible, including police officers.
