Twenty Five, Twenty One is a classic K-drama romance between two very different souls in the late 90’s, Hee-Do and Yi-Jin. Hee-Do is a member of her high school fencing team but thanks to the financial crisis, she’s forced to switch schools, becoming a member of the sabre fencing national team.

Meanwhile, Yi-Jin’s father goes bankrupt, changing Yi-Jin’s life forever and forcing him to eke out a living. After experiencing the upper-echelons of society and all the benefits that go with that, it’s tough for him.

As time goes on, these two find solace in one another, allowing their romance to blossom.

What Happened In Episode 15?

Episode 15 was by far one of the best episodes of the whole show. The poetic juxtaposition of Hee-Do’s joy with Yu-Rim and devastation with Yi-Jin makes for one heck of a rollercoaste ride.

It also throws very big question marks over whether these relationships will stand the test of time, and quite how that’s transcribed to the present. Is Yi-Jin actually Min-Chae’s father? We’ll have to wait and see!
