The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash – Episode 2 Recap & Review

Episode 2

In the first scene of The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash Episode 2, our protagonist Femicia follows the advice of a fortune teller and travels to the town of Latoto. She then takes Sora with her in the direction of the village.

Femicia kills a mouse and saves its flesh on her journey to the village. At that point, she also realises that the bounty-seeking tamers are pursuing her. Afterwards, she uses her portions to recuperate from the injuries.

The villagers welcome Femicia with open arms and treat her with kindness as soon as she arrives. She is pleasantly surprised when a vendor offers her a substantial sum to buy rat meat. Following that, a bakery owner kindly gives her bread in exchange for money when she gets hungry.

Femicia then discovers portions scattered near the forest waste. At this point, she learns that Sora only eats green-coloured portions. When Femicia returns to the village, she discovers posters advertising her bounty that are scattered throughout. Following that, she and Sora will have to flee the village.

Femicia discovers tasty fruits while she and Sora make their way through the woods to reach another village. However, the tree is actually a monster, and she sustains serious injuries as a consequence. At this point, Sora lands on her wound and the episode comes to a close.

The Episode Review

Femicia and Sora reach Latoto village in the second episode. In the village, Femicia meets generous locals and enjoys a hearty loaf of bread. Unfortunately, Femicia gets hurt by a terrifying tree monster.

This episode, like the previous one, is engaging and enjoyable. A much-needed dose of existential and deep introspection counteracts this air of lightness. Furthermore, despite her tremendous weakness, the protagonist demonstrates remarkable resilience, which immediately earns her admiration and respect.
