Magical Contract

The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Episode 7 begins with Rentt and his party encountering a grand slime. He lets the rookies handle the slime and advises them to collect the fluids to sell later. They then reach the finishing point and receive a badge to exchange at the guild desk. Additionally, they also receive their bonus of spell portions and a spell portion holder.

On their way back, Rentt requests a small side trip before heading back to the Guild office. Rentt takes them to a lush green forest landscape with its sun within. The group then heads back and exchanges the tokens for their Bronze class badges. The duo expresses their wish to adventure with Rentt sometime again.

Sheila claims she finds something odd and confronts Rentt about it, promising to keep it a secret. She makes a magical contract, putting herself on the line if she doesn’t maintain secrecy. He reveals to her that he is undead now due to certain happenings in the New Moon Labyrinth. He takes her to Lorraine to discuss things further.

Lorraine is surprised to know that Rentt let his secret out and initially tests Sheila. Sheila is, however, adamant about keeping the secret and supporting Rentt. She gives them more information on what’s happening inside the guild recently.

She informs them about the rumors being spread because Rentt has shown up with no history and is ranking up extremely quickly, drawing more attention. She, however, expresses her desire to keep things confidential and support Rentt through the process. Rentt agrees to avoid going to the Labyrinth for a few days.

The Guildmaster questions Sheila about Rentt, but she doesn’t reveal any signs of suspicion at the end of The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Episode 7.

The Episode Review

Rentt’s secret is out, but it is still safe with Sheila. Since returning to the Guild, Rentt has surely claimed to be a rookie, but his actions didn’t blend in with the persona he claimed. It became painfully evident that he was far from being a rookie. In this episode, the person who has been second closest to him confronts him about it, and he is forced to reveal it.

Luckily, Sheila is on quite good terms with Rentt and agrees to keep it a secret. However, suspicion grows on the guildmaster and other members of the guild as well. The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Episode 7 keeps things interesting with this hanging by a thread, and it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.
