What Happened in Episode 8?

In The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses Episode 8, we witness more daily shenanigans between Mie and Komura. One day, Komura walks in on a girl confessing to Azuma, enticing him to hide behind a tree. Unfortunately, a cat accompanies him, causing him to panic because he doesn’t want to get caught eavesdropping. Mie starts acting like a cat, encouraging the feline to head in her direction.

The cat travels elsewhere, resulting in Mie following it. Komura grabs Mie before Azuma realizes they’re listening in on his conversation with the girl. Mie thanks Komura for pulling her aside after overhearing the girl getting rejected by Azuma. The episode closes with Mie informing Komura that she saw a cat.
