The Fable Episode 5 Release Date
The entire schedule for The Fable Season 1 so far is as follows:
- Episode 5 – May 4th 2024
Episode 5 will be released on Saturday 4th May at 1am (JST) / 4pm (GMT) / 12pm (ET) / 9am (PT). This is a weekend show, with 1 episode releasing each week on Saturdays.
Expect episode 5 to be roughly 25 minutes long, which is consistent with the timeframe for the rest of the show.
Where Can I Watch The Fable?
The Fable will air on Hulu and Disney Plus for global audiences. In Japan, it’ll be streaming on the Nippon TV network, Hulu, and Disney Plus. Following its premiere, it’ll be available on Japanese television networks like Lemino, DMM TV, U-NEXT, and others.
How Many Episodes Will The Fable Have?
It has been announced that The Fable will have 25 episodes in total. With that in mind, 20 episodes will remain after this one. As long as the schedule doesn’t change, it should look something like this:

What Happened In Episode 4?
In The Fable Episode 4, Fable knocks out the man Takeshi told him to kill. Fable refuses to kill the man, resulting in Takeshi killing him. Fable pleads with Takeshi, begging him to let him live peacefully in Taihei. Fortunately, Takeshi complies and orders his henchmen Kuro to dispose of the dead man’s body. After that, Takeshi and Fable visit an eatery to discuss things further.
Meanwhile, Yoko and Takahashi fool around at a bar by getting drunk and poking fun at each other. Eventually, those two arrive at Yoko’s place and Yoko makes a fool out of Takahashi while he’s there.
Takeshi and Fable discuss topics regarding Takeshi’s friend’s freedom and Fable’s hobby concerns. Eventually, the two leave the eatery and spot the same girl who helped Fable out after his fight with the kickboxer. We learn she’s named Misaki and Takeshi informs Fable about her current tasks and goals. Takeshi drops Fable off at home and Fable interacts with Captain, his pet bird. The episode closes with Fable wondering what type of job he should get.
