Renewed Or Cancelled?
Little Women is the latest weekend K-drama that takes over from Alchemy of Soul’s slot on both tvN and Netflix. It’s a deliciously twisted blend of mystery, murder and drama, with plenty of shocks along the way. If you’ve been following this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Little Women Season 1 about?
In essence, the story centers on three sisters get involved in a case that leads them to fight against the richest and most influential family in South Korea.
Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-Hyun and Park Ji-Hu will play the roles of 3 poor sisters whose lives are altered after they get involved in a case of a missing amount of 70 billion won. Go-eun will play the role of the eldest sister who believes money is powerful and wishes for an ordinary life without the stress of being poor.
Ji-Hyun will play the middle sister who is an ambitious reporter. Lastly, Ji- Hu will play the young sister who is a high school student talented in painting.

Has Little Women been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, tvN have not renewed Little Women for season 2. Given the ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
The ratings began with a pretty decent 6.3% share nationwide but since then, the show has been steadily increasing, with highs of 8.6% for episode 8.
Despite the ratings and shorter run-time of 12 rather than 16 episodes, we predict that Little Women will not be renewed for a second season.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 right now. Given most Korean dramas are reserved to one season, it’s rare to find these renewed. With the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.
Having said that though, we have seen Taxi Driver and Tale of the Nine Tailed renewed recently. Given how steady the ratings are for this series, could we see this one buck the trend? Right now it seems unlikely.
There is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up for a sequel or a spin-off featuring the same characters. But considering all of this, we believe this will not be renewed.
