Renewed Or Cancelled?
The ongoing fantasy romance, Destined With You, is an interesting K-drama with some great characters, a decent premise and an enticing romance at its heart. The story seems to be getting a mixed reaction from its fans but it’s certainly a popular one.
If you’ve been following Destined With You one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Well, wonder no more! Here’s what we know about a renewal:
What is Destined With You Season 1 about?
The show narrates the story of Lee Hong-jo, a lowest-grade civil servant. She always does her best at work, even though she suffers from many civil complaints. In her personal life, she is used to being alone.
Meanwhile, Jang Sin-yu is a competent lawyer who is smart and good-looking, and usually in the spotlight wherever he goes. Sin-yu suffers from an unexplained disease and his condition progressively gets worse as the days go by. He is desperate to lift the curse that has run through his family for generations.
One day, Hong-jo happens to find an old wooden chest which becomes the key to lifting Jang Sin-yu’s curse. A lawyer bound by a centuries-old curse becomes entangled with a civil servant who holds the key to his freedom, igniting an unexpected romance.

Has Destined With You been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, JTBC and Netflix have not renewed Destined With You for season 2. Given the ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
The ratings began with a 2.9% share nationwide but since then, the show has been on a slight downward trajectory through the weeks, petering out to around 2.0% for some of the later episodes.
Given that most Korean dramas only run for a single season, and the ratings aren’t exactly lighting up the K-drama schedule, we predict Destined With You will not be renewed.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Most Korean dramas are reserved for one season, as detailed above, with the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.). But with all things considered, it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.
However, there is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up sequel or spin-off featuring the same characters. But based on everything we’ve seen, Destined With You will probably not be renewed.

I want second season. This is the First time I am watching a drama more than one time .I started it because of jo bo ah. Now I can’t get read of their chemistry
