What is Criminal Record about?

Criminal Record sees an anonymous call lead to the re-investigation of an old case that resulted in the possible wrongful conviction of a man for the murder of his partner. DS June Lenker (Cush Jumbo) squares off against the SIO on the original case, DCI Daniel Hegarty (Peter Capaldi), and tries to fight against racial bias in the police and thwart his attempts to cover up mistakes in the original investigation.

Has Criminal Record been renewed For Season 2?

No, at the time of writing, Criminal Record has not been renewed for season 2. The series premiered in January 2024 and has been well-received by fans and critics. Despite there being no official announcements regarding the renewal of the series, it definitely can’t be ruled out.
