What is Wednesday about?
Wednesday is the latest teenage fantasy/ horror comedy released by Netflix. The show follows a young, socially inept Wednesday Addams as she enrols at Nevermore Academy. She soon finds herself caught up in a thrilling yet bloody mystery within the school and struggles to master her psychic powers.

Has Wednesday been renewed for season 2?
On January 6th, 2023 Netflix made an official confirmation that the show has been given the green light for a new season. However, they are yet to announce the premiere date. We will keep you posted.
So far, the show has been well-received with many critics and viewers calling the show, “one of the best coming-of-age series” watched recently. It is highly possible that is why we quickly got a confirmation from Netflix about the show.
Generally, Netflix gauges numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars) Other times, it can take months before Netflix makes a decision over a show’s future.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Currently, like Jon Snow we know nothing but based on the cliffhanger and the viewers’ general reception to the show, it is safe to say that we might get a season 2 announcement soon. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait long to see what happens when the students report back for school next term!
If the show is renewed we can expect to see it in mid-2023 and it will probably maintain its eight-episode structure.

Watched the whole season in one day. Can’t wait for season 2.
