Revenge of Others is the latest K-drama airing exclusively on Disney+, with a decent cast of characters and an intense storyline. If you’ve finished all 12 episodes, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Well, wonder no more! Here’s what we know about a renewal:

What is Revenge of Others Season 1 about?

The story here follows Ok Chan-Mi, a 19 year old high school student. She used to be a shooter for a high school team but her entire world is turned upside down when her twin brother dies. She’s determined to find the truth and hunts for what really happened. In doing so, Chan-Mi ends up involved with Ji Soo-Heon. On behalf of bullied students everywhere, the pair set out to get their revenge on those responsible.

Has Revenge of Others been renewed for season 2?

At the time of writing, Revenge of Others has not been renewed for a second season. Given the nature of the show’s content, that could well change if it does good numbers for Disney.

Generally Disney, along with other streamers, gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before Disney actually make a decision over a show’s future.

So far, Revenge of Others has had a pretty good reaction from audiences and critics alike, with most liking the overall story and the themes played with. However, as this is an original K-drama, it’s still unknown whether Disney will renew this one. We’re guessing it’s probably not going to happen but we’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available.

What we know about season 2 so far:

Barely anything is known about a second season given Disney+ have not officially announced whether this will be renewed or not.

Most Korean dramas are reserved to one season and with the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.

However, there is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up, especially as Soundtrack #1 has also recently received the renewal nod from the House of Mouse.

We do think this has potential for another season though, and Disney could well decide to push for another season. For now, we’re still in the dark but under the impression that Revenge of Others will not be returning for another season.

  14. I think revenge of others should have a season 2 because believe it or not a lot of people are posting on tik tok about how they love it and want a season 2. And me personally I loved that show and it is my favorite show, plus we should deserve a season 2 for the big plot twist at the end who left us clueless on what she’s gonna do now.
