Renewed Or Cancelled?
Citadel is Amazon Prime’s snazzy new series about spies, featuring plenty of action and thrills. If you’ve finished watching this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Well, here’s what we know so far:
What is Citadel Season 1 about?
Citadel revolves around Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, who belonged to an elite spy organisation named Citadel before it was forced to disband and their memories erased for good measure. When a new world-threatening danger arises however, the agents must find their way back to who they used to be.
Citadel has big names on screen and behind the camera. David Weil is the showrunner while the iconic Russo brothers are executive producers. Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas play the charismatic main leads while Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville are part of the supporting cast.

Has Citadel been renewed for season 2?
Citadel has been renewed for a second season and the decision came pretty early on. The announcement was made on March 14th 2023, about a month before the season began airing on Amazon Prime.
The show is also meant to be a global franchise with this season being the ‘mothership’. It is then set to have international spin-offs in a number of countries including Italy, India, Spain and Mexico, where each series will be made in the local language.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Season 2 of Citadel was greenlit way back in March. On May 25, 2023, Prime Video once again announced that Nadia Sinh and Mason Kane will be back for a second story. Along with the declaration of the season, Prime Video also revealed that Season 2 would entirely be directed by Joe Russo.
Seeing as the ending of Season 1 set up several conflicts to unwrap — from Mason getting his memories back and realising he was the one who betrayed Citadel to Dahlia being revealed to be his mother to Nadia and Carter recognising Abby as Celeste — there is plenty of fodder for Season 2. Presumably, Season 2 will deal with all these storylines as well as with Bernard Orlick, who’s seemingly still with Dahlia.

I need to know when Mason and Nadia got married. I remember him proposing, she accepting & when she found out Mason erased her “friend’s” – who is now his wife – memories, she was very upset & returned his ring. Now, they’re married???? When did that happen?
