Car Masters is a very enjoyable reality series, one that feels like a hybrid blend of Pimp My Ride and Big Timber. It’s a super easy binge-watch and if you’ve been following the previous seasons, each of the different crew members bring a unique flavour to the business.

So, after watching season 1 in its entirety, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:

What is Car Masters season 5 about?

Season 5 picks up where the previous one left off, with the Gotham Garage crew having made a deal with Nick, who helps with the connections and building up the business into exclusively tailoring for high-end clients. There’s also two newcomers to the group, Brian and Jake, all with the vision of expanding this business out to new heights it otherwise wouldn’t have managed.

As expected, there are teething problems with this idea and across the 8 episodes there’s a consistent theme that trickles back into to the team about how they feel regarding the expansion and the new business model of going after high-end clientele to make the biggest bucks possible.

All the usual suspects are here, with the face to face interviews including machinist Tony, owner Mark and the clients themselves, all helping to give this a reality TV shine.

Has Car Masters been renewed for season 6?

At the time of writing, Car Masters has not been renewed for season 6.

Generally Netflix would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.

With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made.

Car Masters is one of the most popular reality series on Netflix, evidenced by the number of seasons it has had already. It’s also got good feedback from critics and audiences alike, with many loving the restorations and enjoying this but others commenting on the simplicity of the humour and the

What we know about season 6 so far:

Barely anything is known about season 6 at this point as Netflix haven’t officially renewed this one. Should it be renewed, the whole gang will likely return, and so will the drama involving this new takeover and the high-end clientele. Oh, and plenty of restorations on the cards too!

  6. Bring Car Masters back! My wife doesn’t usually like shows like these but we do 1-3 episodes every night. So much “junk” on TV, but this one is a REAL winner. I could do this for 20 seasons!!

  11. It was very interesting to see the enthusiasm of the crew everytime Mark arrived in front of the Gotham garage gate carrying the car to be modified and they happily greeted it then pushed the car in.

  13. I love Car Masters Rust to Riches. Just finished season 5 and can’t wait till the release of season 6. The builds are amazing and Mark and his team are the best!! So much talent going on here. Seriously can’t wait!!

  19. A great show and the cars top notch they didn’t build as many cars but the direction of the show is the best

  20. All I can say is it is the most Brilliant Program that I have ever seen so if there was a sense 6.7 and 8 it would be fantastic as I love it and what the team do to car’s If I had a wish to have a car down by them I would definitely have it done.

  21. I love the show both myself and my wife are big fans. Season 1 to 4 didn’t take that long to watch as the show keeps us captivated and finding out that Season 5 was on Netflix we both settled down and watched 7 episodes one after the other and left episode 8 until the next morning. With out more Seasons of this show it would be like watch a film or series which at the end left you to make your own mind up and how it ended so please 🙏 more Seasons.

  24. I would like a 6 season I’ve watched all the episodes that have been produced. I’ve really enjoyed the comrade and the works that Gotham garage.
