As The Crow Flies is the latest Turkish series on Netflix, full of drama, tension and memorable characters to whet the appetite. Now onto its second season, this show doesn’t look like slowing down on the drama any time soon!

So, after watching both seasons, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:

What is As The Crow Flies about?

As The Crow Flies centers on Asli, an avid fan of the famous newsroom anchor, Lale. When Asli gets a chance encounter and speaks to Lale in the bathroom, she finds out the anchor isn’t exactly in a friendly mood. She brushes off Asli and tells her to take a different direction in life. 

Naturally, Asli decides to work her way into the production company Lale works for as an intern, doing everything she can to get closer to Lale. But of course, there’s bad intentions in the methodology here. 

With the end of season 1, season 2 picks up with Asli experiencing everything she ever dreamed of. However, this higher profile means she has a bigger bullseye on her back. Lale intends to get her revenge and digs into the past, all whilst desperately trying to unseat Asli. Naturally, this culminates in an explosive ending to the season.

Has As The Crow Flies been renewed for season 3?

At the time of writing, As The Crow Flies has not been renewed for season 3.

Generally Netflix would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.

With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made.

So far, As The Crow Flies has had a pretty mixed reaction from critics and audiences alike, with some enjoying the soapy drama and thriller aspects, but others pointing out how melodramatic and over the top this one is.

Given the way this show is set up, not to mention the moreish feel of the show, we’re predicting that this will be renewed for a third season. The series does have plenty of potential but it all rests on that drop-off rate. However, Netflix do tend to give international series a good shout, especially Turkish shows which have a really good renewal rate.

What we know about season 3 so far:

Barely anything is known about season 3 at this point as Netflix haven’t officially renewed this one. Should it be renewed, we’d imagine that the story will pick up with Asli and Lale fighting once more for dominance.

  3. Being a part of the Newsroom and Mainstream media, I love this series. It is Very close to reality. It seems it’s not in turkey, it’s happening here in India, all around us, Everyday.
    Journalists of India must see this, I am sure everyone will see a character of their own here. More love from India🇮🇳

  10. Best series to be honest both of them what ever project they r in they look great as a couple toooo much chemistry….. They belong together in real life as a couple love the series can’t wait for the third season

  11. Waited with much anticipation for season 2 and even more now for season 3 after 2 ended in such a cliffhanger
    Hoping Lale and Kenyan will get together without too many issues…they just belong together in all angles 💞
