Reboot is a new Hulu comedy series from Modern Family creator Steve Levitan. The show good-naturedly pokes fun at the plethora of remakes in Hollywood by going behind the scenes on such a production.
In Reboot, several stars from a sitcom called Step Right Up are brought together again to do a remake of their old show. But this time, new showrunner Hannah (Rachel Bloom) wants the show to address real issues. Her vision is compromised, however, when the old showrunner Gordon (Paul Reiser) steps into the scene. Meanwhile, actors Reed (Keegan-Michael Key), Bree (Judy Greer), Clay (Johnny Knoxville), and Zack (Calum Worthy) have to navigate their own challenges. After all, how does one become a family again when you haven’t seen each other for 15 years?
