Queen of Tears
“Wedding of the century” or “war of the century”? Such is the question that the new k-drama Queen of Tears looks set to pose. Armed with hallyu stars Kim Soo Hyun of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay fame, and Kim Ji-won of Arthdal Chronicles fame, the show is a roller-coaster ride of broken promises and fading marital bliss.
Not only is Queen of Tears one of the most highly anticipated Netflix shows of the year, but also features one of the most high-profile cast, sending it off on a path of sure success. So be warned that the following article contains spoilers.
Queen of Tears Episode 6 [Spoilers]
In the preview for episode 6, we see a clip of Hyun-woo praying in a church. Hyun-woo and Hae-in seem to be touring Germany like ordinary people and we hear Hae-in’s voice-over saying that she has the best husband.
Hyun-woo wants to sleep in the same room as Hae-in now, and Hae-in encourages him to do whatever he feels like, possible in response to him asking for her permission.
Elsewhere we find that Hae-in’s mother is brushing off a ginseng root and Soo-cheol questions his aunt on why Hae-in would need ginseng, since she’s so healthy already. Beom-ja thunders and yells at him to stop being greedy.
Meanwhile, it seems that after the video of Hae-in’s visit at Yungdu-ri, the town has become popular with tourists.
Eun-seong finds a secret safe and says that, “A relationship is bound to crumble with a secret”. The Hong family seem surprised at some unknown secret.
Hae-in has another hallucination, this time it seems like she meets her older brother. Hyun-woo seems to be looking for her and finds somebody collapsed on the floor.
What to expect in episode 6?
The next episode seems quite exciting. From the previews, it seems that the Hong family is about to discover something huge. Eun-seong has also begun his plan to attack the Queens. Hae-in’s condition seems to be worsening and it’s quite heartbreaking to see. The next episode might be even more heartbreaking than episode 5.
