Queen of Tears
“Wedding of the century” or “war of the century”? Such is the question that the new k-drama Queen of Tears looks set to pose. Armed with hallyu stars Kim Soo Hyun of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay fame, and Kim Ji-won of Arthdal Chronicles fame, the show is a roller-coaster ride of broken promises and fading marital bliss.
Not only is Queen of Tears one of the most highly anticipated Netflix shows of the year, but also features one of the most high-profile cast, sending it off on a path of sure success. So be warned that the following article contains spoilers.
Queen of Tears Episode 16 [Spoilers] – What to expect?
From the the ending of episode 15 where it’s possible that Eun-seong might have hit Hyun-woo, Hyun-woo’s condition in the hospital might be critical. We also listen to his voiceover which seems like a parting message to Hae-in but it’s unlikely that he will die as a result of the car accident. In fact, it seems that later in the episode, Hae-in and Hyun-woo’s lives might be in danger!
It’s possible that Seul-hee might try to kill Hae-in, since she’s been the reason behind Eun-seong’s betrayal towards her and Hyun-woo seems to have to take up arms to protect her. Or it might be Eun-seong trying to either kill Hyun-woo or target both Hae-in and Hyun-woo if he realises that he cannot have Hae-in to himself.
Another predication could be that since Hae-in disappears in episode 15, she might have been kidnapped by Seul-hee or Eun-seong and taken someplace remote where nobody could find her. Either, Eun-seong wants to completely cut her off from society, as he meant to do by taking her to the US, or Seul-hee wants to kill her quietly. Either way, Hyun-woo will most likely recover from the car accident, find Hae-in and will try to rescue her.
