Outlander Season 7 Episode 8
Outlander is back and after the dramatic events of season 6, Jamie and young Ian race to rescue Claire before she’s wrongfully convicted of the murder of Malva Christie. However, their mission is made all the more difficult and perilous as the American Revolution arrives.
Season 7 takes place right in the heart of this, as Jamie, Claire, and their family are caught in the violent pains as the two armies march to war and British institutions crumble in the face of rebellion. The land the Frasers call home is changing – and they’re now forced to change with it.
In order to protect what they’ve built, the Frasers are faced with the horrors of the Revolutionary War. That brings them out of North Carolina and into the hungry jaws of independence, as our characters are forced to make impossible choices that could tear their family apart forever.

Where Can I Watch Outlander?
Outlander is available to stream on Starz. This is an exclusive original series, however, it is also available in the UK to watch on the Starzplay add-on with Prime after broadcast. It is also on Netflix in selected territories.
Outlander Season 7 Episode 8 Release Date
Episode 8 will release on Friday 11th August at 12am (ET). If you missed seasons 1-6, they’re available to watch on catch-up on Prime Video and Netflix (for those internationally) and via the aforementioned Starzplay add-on for those in the US.
Episode 8 is expected to be roughly 65 minutes long, which is consistent with the time frame for the rest of the show.
How Many Episodes Will Outlander Season 7 Have?
Season 7 of Outlander is scheduled for 16 episodes, which is back to business as usual after a disappointingly short season 6 (thanks to a certain virus doing the rounds). This has also been renewed for an eighth and final season already too for those interested to know!
Episode 8 is the finale of Outlander Season 7 Part 1. Expect Part 2 with the remaining 8 episodes sometime in early 2024.

What Happens in Episode 8?
In the mid-season finale preview, Claire finds Jamie on the battlefield but he isn’t moving. Roger deduces that Rob has time travelled with Jem and decides to go through the stones as well. The Second Battle of Saratoga begins with William looking at someone expectantly while elsewhere, Ian and Rachel are about to kiss.

Hi Don! Totally agree with you about season 7 being divided, not necessary at all. There’s some news regarding season 8. Caitriona Balfe recently said that season 8’s filming date had been decided but due to the strike it has been put on hold.
Why? Why is there a break in season 7 at episode 8. I thought this was going to be an all out bang bang bang season. I hate it when they do it. And on top of that they are making us wait till early 2024 for the “second” half of season 7. That’s bullocks. It’s not season 7 it’s season 8. When a season ends in one year and begins in another, that’s a new season. And Season 8?? Is that going to be the end in 2025 or 2026??? They are being elusive.
