The 96th Academy Awards aka 2024 Oscars has caused quite a stir, especially since 2023 saw a barrage of critically acclaimed films. While a no-brainer, Oppenheimer leads with 13 nominations followed by Poor Things with 11 nominations. Some of the other movies that have joined the race are Killers of the Flower Moon, Barbie and Maestro.
The 2024 Oscars took place on 10th March 2024, and was a fanciful affair. While Ryan Gosling and John Cena stole the show, the 96th Academy Awards also celebrated past-winning actors and actresses by bringing them on stage. As for the awards itself, Oppenheimer swept with 7 out of 13 wins followed by Poor Things and The Zone of Interest. Well, let’s take a look at all the nominees and the winners.
