Writer’s Block is a terrible thing. If you have ever stared at a blank page, with nothing to spark your creative impulses, you will have empathy for opera composer Steven Loudden (Peter Dinklage), the main protagonist of Rebecca Miller’s new movie.
Fortunately for Steven, he finds his muse in a tugboat captain named Katrina (Marisa Tomei). After an amorous encounter with her, he is inspired to write his next opera.
If you have seen and enjoyed this movie, you might be interested in a sequel.
But will there be a She Came To Me 2? Or is writer’s block preventing Miller from writing a sequel?

What is She Came To Me about?
For the most part, the movie focuses on Steven and Katrina and their unlikely relationship. But there are several subplots in the movie, including one about Patricia (Anne Hathaway), Steven’s wife, who wants to be a nun, and another about their teenage son and his relationship with the daughter of their cleaner.

Will there be a She Came To Me 2?
A sequel to She Came To Me is very unlikely. This isn’t because the movie’s director Rebecca Miller is short of ideas. Rather, it’s because there is little need for a follow-up movie. What we have here is a story that is mostly resolved by the conclusion so a sequel would make little sense.
Of course, in Hollywood, sequels to movies that don’t need them are often given the green light. So, if we do hear news of She Came To Me 2, we will update this page with the relevant information.
What could She Came For Me 2 be about?
If there is a sequel, we would likely spend more time with the first movie’s main characters. We won’t reveal much here for fear of spoilers, but we would expect to learn more about Katrina and Steven’s unusual relationship. There might also be room to focus on Patricia and her religious calling.
