Finale Predictions

We’re getting so close to the finale of the season! I’m most looking forward to Percy’s attempt at killing the Briarwoods and Anna Ripley. The writers have definitely been building up to a high-stakes moment where the darkness overtakes Percy. I have a feeling he may end up hurting someone close to him due to a lack of control.

The Briarwoods are a force to be reckoned with, and Vox Machina won’t win against them easily. However they go about this fight, I think they are going to have to utilize the Sun Tree. The dark energy at its roots signifies how important it is for Delilah to stave off the Dawnfather’s magic. Here’s hoping Keyleth can put her powers to use and unlock the tree’s mystery.

Hopefully, we’ll also see Pike’s official return to Vox Machina and some sort of resolution for Vax’s declaration of love to Keyleth. I at least foresee a freak out in Vex’s future.

Let us know your predictions for the next three episodes!

What Happened in Episode 9?

There’s a lot to unpack from episode 9, “The Tide of Bone.” Archie was tragically killed in the battle against Delilah’s army of the undead. Percy, however, took up leadership to inspire the people of Whitestone to victory.

Pike reunited with Vox Machina briefly (as an astral projection). She used her newly regained powers to the Everlight to help them in combat.

The end of the episode saw the group sneaking through the dungeons to try and get to the Briarwoods. On the way, Percy leveled his gun at an imprisoned woman who claimed she could help them.

If you need a more lengthy refresher on what happened in the prior episodes, look no further! We have recapped and reviewed episodes 1 through 9.
