Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is airing in Japan on the MBS/TBS Network. It is available to stream on Crunchyroll outside of Asian territories. At the time of writing, there are no plans for this anime to reach any other streaming platforms.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 9 Release Date

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 9 will be released on Thursday 21st September at approximately 5pm (GMT) / 10am (PT) / 12pm (CT). Of course, it’s really dependent on how quickly the platform uploads new episodes. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2’s English Dub is now available on Crunchyroll. However, only episodes one to six have been released with it (so far). You’ll need to watch the remaining episodes in the native Japanese language with subtitles.

Season 2 Episode 9 is titled ‘Shibuya Incident – Gate, Open’ and will be 24 minutes long.

What Happened in Episode 8?

In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 8, Satoru confronts Jogo, Choso, and Hanami in the underground subway station. Mei Mei, Ui Ui, and Yuji report to the station after receiving word about a cursed spirit setting up a veil in the area. Mei Mei goes over a plan of attack against the spirit with Ui Ui and Yuji and they split up.

Yuji confronts the locust-cursed spirit. The locust reveals that Mahito tasked him with setting up the veil. Yuji fights and defeats the locust-cursed spirit and the veil disappears. Yuji reunites with Mei Mei and Ui Ui and they proceed with the next phase of their operation. Jogo and his allies start murdering humans and combat Satoru.

The episode closes with Getou plotting to execute his Prison Realm plan.
