The first season of Island has been gaining a lot of popularity over the last few weeks. Starring Kim Nam-gil, Lee Da-hee, and Cha Eun-woo in the lead roles, the story is based on a manhwa (webtoon) of the same name.

The TVing original, Island, tells the story of Won Mi-ho, the only daughter of her father who runs Daehan Group. Her arrogant and selfish attitude causes her to commit a mistake that leads her father to banish her to Jeju Island.

On the island, she is assigned to work as a high school Counsellor but things soon change when her destiny comes into play. On the island, evil roams free but Mi-ho is unaware of what she has gotten into. There she also meets other individuals who together join forces to survive against evil.

Where Can I Watch the K-drama, Island Season 2?

TVing’s Island Part 2 will be available to watch in South Korea on the streaming platform, TVing. The show will also be released on Amazon Prime Video globally.

Island Part 2 Episode 1 and 2 Release Date

Episode 1 and 2 of TVing’s Island Season 2 will release globally on Friday 24th February at 12am (KST) / 10pm (ET).

Expect the show to have 6 episodes in its second season following the first season. Each episode of Island will have a run time of 45 to 50 minutes. Also expect episodes to drop with subtitles too.

How Many Episodes Will Island Part 2 Have?

It has been revealed that Island Season 2 will also have 6 episodes like its first season. The show will follow the same format as its last season and will release 2-episodes every week. Expect both episodes of Island to release simultaneously every Friday over the course of three weeks.

In the first season, we saw how Mi-ho hired Ban to be her bodyguard to protect her from the demons. The demon slayer – Ban – is one of the only two demon slayers along with Gong-tan. Meanwhile, Yohan is a young priest who is tasked by the High Priests from Italy to protect the saviour – Wonjeong. Meanwhile, Wonjeong has been reincarnated as Mi-ho.

Now as we look forward to season 2, we know that Yeom-ji is part of Gong-tan’s army of demons who are against humans and want Mi-ho dead. With Yohan’s brother dead, he is surely going to hunt Gong-tan down for putting his innocent brother through hell. Ban is also getting weaker by keeping himself with Mi-ho as he hunts demons and it will possibly be difficult for him to help Mi-ho.

We also know that Mi-ho has pledged to rescue Ban and will try to awaken Wonjeong within herself in order to make a barrier and control the demons from hunting down more humans.
