Ishura – Season 1 Episode 6 Recap & Review

Gathering of Factions

Ishura Episode 6 begins with Hidow meeting with Yuno and Soujirou regarding their support of his plan. Soujirou is more interested in the competition to determine the Hero. On Yuno’s inquiry, Hidow claims that the incident in her village was Dakai’s doing. She requests if she can join Soujirou, and Hidow allows it.

The scene cuts to Regnejee arriving at Curte’s room. He sees someone inside, and she is having dinner with Taren. Dakai reveals himself and accuses Regnejee of sharing important military information with Curte, which she has probably written in braille and leaked it to the enemy. Regnejee realizes this is a threat to his swarm.

At dinner with Taren, Curte requests her to stop sending Regnejee on such dangerous missions. Taren justifies it, saying it is his job. Curte also learns about her role in the war as Regnejee refuses to fight without her.

The scene switches to Elea taking Kia through the city. Kia heads off to check out a ship, and Elea has a conversation with Lana. Lana passes on the information of things that happen in Auretia to Elea. Elea enquires about the assassination of Taren. Lana boasts about her achievements of winning over Higuare and Shalk. Lana suspiciously grips a tiny bottle.

Just then, Kia arrives, and Elea introduces the two to each other. Lana offers to take them places and show Kia the city. Later that evening, Elea lets Kia sleep on a bench. Lana leaves, claiming she will buy a souvenir for Kia.

Elea secretly follows Lana and sees him meeting Dakai. Dakai tells her about the information leaked by Curte through braille. Dakai vouches for Curte’s loyalty to Taren and claims someone has enticed her to do so. Dakai further goes on to blame Lana for it, and the transcriptions are proof. He takes Lana in the carriage to meet Taren.

Elea is worried it will be a problem as she will also be interrogated. She begins to follow behind the chariot at the end of Ishura Episode 6.

The Episode Review

Just when we think the show is getting too complicated with too many main characters and subdividing them into 2 parties, we are now introduced to some complex interactions between the characters. Plagued with loyalties, grudges, and betrayal, they add a lot of depth and dimension to the show as a whole and will serve as another part of the anime to keep up with. Soujirou makes an appearance joining Hidow in his endeavors.

Ishura Episode 6 makes significant progress in the storyline with Dakai on the hunt for the traitor and finding Lana to be blamed for the transmission of information to the enemy. He takes her to Taren while Elea follows them in an attempt to save herself from getting busted.
