Heaven Official’s Blessing is a hilarious Chinese animated series that follows the thrice-ascended martial god Prince Xie Lian. The only catch is that he has been demoted to a scrap god. As he goes about picking up missions no other gods are interested in, he starts unravelling a conspiracy that just may have him in the centre of it.
Season 2 picks up with the Ghost City arc from its novel, Tiān Guān Cì Fú with Jun Wu sending Xie Lian on a secret mission to Ghost City to find a missing heavenly official. This time, his companions are the over-friendly Shi Qingxuan and the rash and righteous Lang Qianqiu. But of course, nothing can ever come easy for Xie Lian as Ghost City is ruled by none other than San Lang aka the Ghost King, Hua Cheng.

What Happens in the Next Episode?
In the Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 2 Episode 11 teaser, Hua Cheng and Xie Lian free the prisoners from Qi Rong’s den. The scrap god then asks how Hua Cheng knew that Qi Rong was behind the Gilded Banquet Massacre. Hua Cheng says he didn’t know for sure, but what he knew was that Xie Lian wasn’t responsible. Xie Lian is shocked and wonders if Hua Cheng is someone from his past.
