Girls5eva – Season 3 Episode 4 “Orlando” Recap & Review

Episode 4 of Girls5Eva begins, and we learn that the girls have landed themselves a lucrative gig. For 30k, they’ll have to perform at a party being thrown by one of their fans. Wickie is ready as she believes every big star performs for rich people. She gives examples of Usher, Beyoncé, and Bon Jovi, who once performed for the Gaddafis. 

Gloria is also on board, as she knows they need every dollar they can find if they want to perform at Radio City. The girls arrive at the venue and meet Taffy, an aristocrat who owns a massive mansion. Taffy is so rich that she has also called Rebecca Lobo and Pixie Jones to perform at her party. However, Taffy is most excited to see Girls5eva in action.

Wickie runs into Torque, an old flame with whom she shared many memorable moments. They parted ways due to some marketing strategy but never reconciled. Torque opens up to Wickie, expressing his desire for them to be a real couple again. 

Meanwhile, Summer encounters Pixie, who is less than thrilled to see her. Their collaboration on a song went sour because of Summer’s excessive behavior, turning what was supposed to be a hit into a joke. Now, Summer is determined to make amends with Pixie because she can’t bear the thought of her biggest role model hating her.

Taffy requests Summer to perform their song “Sweet’N Low Daddy” because it’s her absolute favorite, but Dawn isn’t too thrilled about it because the band’s old songs had a toxic vibe. She tries to subtly convince Taffy otherwise, but it only ends up angering her. Now, Taffy doesn’t want Dawn to perform at her party. Fortunately, Gloria comes to the rescue by suggesting that Taffy sing Dawn’s lines instead.

Pixie performs her song again, but as usual, Summer’s antics ruin the performance. Meanwhile, Wickie meets Torque, but her thoughts wander back to Kevin, her old boyfriend, causing her to leave the room abruptly. It seems like no matter what Wickie lets out, she’s still not over Kevin.

As the episode comes to a close, Taffy makes the decision for the group to perform “Sweet’N Low Daddy,” which brings cheers from everyone, including Taffy herself.

The Episode Review

In Episode 4 of Girls5eva, the girls land a high-paying gig at Taffy’s extravagant party. Wickie and Gloria are enthusiastic, but tension arises when Taffy insists on them performing an old, toxic song.

Summer tries to reconcile with Pixie, her former collaborator, but her behavior backfires. Meanwhile, Wickie reconnects with Torque, an old flame, while still harboring feelings for her ex, Kevin.

Despite the challenges, the girls come together to perform “Sweet’N Low Daddy,” bringing joy to Taffy and the party guests.
