Episode Review

The first episode of Family Guy season 22 shows the makers are continuing to be bent on trying fresh and bold plot ideas. That’s a good sign, but is the result as good?

The narrative is gripping even though much isn’t happening there. We enjoyed Stewie and Peter’s wayward cameos and their cutaways were funny too. The story isn’t very strong, but the season appears to have gotten off on the right foot. Will we get the old Family Guy back? Signs are there.
