We pick up in Alamut, 2 months later. Head out from the water and proceed forward, along the stream and toward the marker on your UI ahead.

On the way, we’ll be prompted that eating certain plants and food can help regenerate our health. At the end of the path, Roshan will be there waiting. She’ll tell you to get some rest, before we start our training.

From your starting position, head up the wall and to the left, across the handholds. The route is quite straightforward but if you do get lost, swing the camera around and watch for the markers in white to find your way up.

When you reach the top, hit the edge of the beam and jump down into the haystack. As you do, Roshan will admit you don’t get solid 10’s for your efforts just yet and encourage you to embrace your fear for the next time.

Follow Roshan along the path and be sure to top up your health from the green bushes just beyond as these hold berries that can restore your HP. 

 

Find Fuladh

Roshan will bid farewell and encourage you to go and speak to Fuladh next. If you use your Eagle Vision, he’ll pop up on the path ahead, marked in orange. The other friendly NPCs will be marked in blue.

There are a few you can speak to but nothing noteworthy so continue on the path forward and find our man.

In order to reach him, pass the campfire and up the wooden steps. Turn left and go up the ladder (pictured below)

At the top, keep moving forward and speak to the construction worker. After, turn round and proceed on the path to the right, hugging the wall or tightroping over toward the ladder. Jump down and immediately to your right you’ll find Fuladh (route pictured below).

 

Get Leather Strips

It’s fetch quest time! Fuladh will ask you to collect him some leather strips so follow the path ahead and into the storage tent. There’s a few different items we can interact with, but the treasure we’re after is actually on the table. 

 

Bring the strips to Rebekah

After collecting the leather strips, listen to the dialogue and exit the tent. You can go in a straight line from here, all the way over the boxes and beams to the higher level and beyond.

At the top of the stairwell, turn right at the carpenter and zipline down. Round the corner you’ll find Rebekah. After handing over the leather strips, she’ll give you 1x Initiate of Alamut Sword and 1x Initiate of Alamut Dagger. 

 

Go to the training ground

From your starting area, the novice will encourage you to go to the training ground. Just behind him you’ll find a fallen log. Climb up the subsequent ladder and handholds that follow. Partway, use the lift to ascend higher and follow the linear path along until you reach the top of the cliff.

The next section will include a tutorial of using basic combat skills, including parries, dodges and basic attacks. After sparring with Roshan, she’ll stop proceedings and remind Basim not to rush his training.

 

Follow Nur/Go to the watch point

That night, Basim will agree to go on patrol with Nur. Hold R2 to select the torch and equip if you want to lighten your path, but if you stick close to Nur (or turn up your brightness) you won’t really need to.

After discussing matters with two nearby guards, you’ll need to reach the watch point.

Proceed forward and either climb up to the higher area on the right or follow the linear pathway as it zig-zags up to the higher level. Be sure to open the chest just before you climb up the ramps and ladders, as this holds 1x Throwing Knife and 1x Elixir inside.

When you’re ready, head up the ladder and follow the path round to the zipline.

 

Investigate With Nur

Follow the zipline down and proceed to the lower platform. Hide in the grass and sneak up on the soldier ahead, knocking them out from behind.

In the next area, there are six soldiers in total and we can either go in full-on Leeroy Jenkins style with our new combat skills, or use your whistling to lure out each guard one by one to make it easier to proceed by knocking them out stealthily. There’s a whole bunch of shrubbery and tall grass in this area to make it easy to do so.

Either way, dispatch all the soldiers and Basim will notice that these guys are actually mercenaries from Baghdad. A cutscene will ensue as Basim tells the others about this, and then a big montage will ensue, showing Basim’s training and eventually paving way for the chapter to end.
