Since Microsoft merged Xbox and PC together, the lack of exclusivity has only strengthened the company’s gaming presence. There are no games exclusive to Xbox anymore, but there are games here that won’t be released on PlayStation.
Previously, we talked about PC and PlayStation games that will be released in January 2022. Today, our topic falls to games that will be released on the Xbox platform. These include Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S.
If you’re an Xbox or PC gamer, we have to agree that the first service you should look into purchasing is Xbox Game Pass. The library here involves hundreds of different games, all available with a single membership.
However, XBox boasted a full show in the second half of 2021. They managed to produce thousands of hours of quality entertainment with games such as The Ascent, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Back 4 Blood, Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite. With a strong line-up in a relatively mediocre year, let’s see how Xbox starts the year with games in January 2022.

The Anacrusis – January 13
Imagine trying to survive as four friends aboard a gigantic spaceship floating in the endless void of space. What about dozens of upgrades, weapons, and replayability? The Anacrusis is such a game, a first person shooter due to be released on Xbox as well as PC.
If you have played the zombie modes of Call of Duty or Left 4 Dead, you’ll have a pretty good idea of what this game will be like. The best news about this is that it will be published on Game Pass from day one. So with your Xbox Game Pass subscription, you can play The Anacrusis for free.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction – January 20
There will be no Xbox exclusive game this month. So, some of the games on this list do also show up on our other articles too. One such example is Rainbow Six Extraction, which is set to become the masterwork of Ubisoft Montreal.
Extraction is a tactical FPS game where we will try to eliminate the alien threat called Archaeans in teams of three. So this time we will use all of Siege’s tacticality, operator and skill system in co-op mode against aliens. It sounds fun and suspenseful; let’s see if it’s successful.

Pupperazzi – January 20
If you’re looking for the cutest and chillest game of January 2022: Pupperazzi fits the bill. In this sandbox game, you take pictures of different dogs on the map. Yes, that’s it. Dozens of different breeds of dogs have taken their place in the game with all their cuteness.
It also has great features like upgrading your camera, exploring different types of dogs, and an expansive map. And the best feature is what you can imagine: With Xbox Game Pass, you can play for free from day one. After January 20, expect plenty of cuteness!

Reverie Knights Tactics – January 25
Reverie Knights Tactics, which will be released on Xbox One, is preparing to offer a great experience for the genre enthusiast. It looks pretty fun with its isometric camera angle and turn-based structure. Even if you don’t like the tactical RPG genre, you shouldn’t discount this one. The entire universe of the game was created entirely by hand drawing and painting. Graphically, this one looks very impressive.
The rest is as we know; heroes, fantastic stories, legends, folk tales… Those who want to spare a few hours a day and experience an adventure like the old days should definitely take a look.
