Tracker Season 1 Episode 9 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Watch

Tracker Season 1 Episode 9

Tracker is a new crime thriller show from CBS based on The Never Game by Jeffrey Deaver. It stars Justin Hartley in the central role of Colter Shaw, who travels the country in his old-school RV to help police and private citizens solve crimes and locate missing persons. His latest case changes everything in this modern take on the bounty hunter mould of character.

Shaw is credited as a “reward seeker” and a “lone wolf.” Robin Weigert, Eric Graise, and Abby McEnany are also attached as members of the core cast. Expect the roster to be refreshed with every new episode considering the format of the show. Tracker also features an overarching narrative revolving around Shaw’s chequered relationship with his family, underscoring themes of dysfunction and grief.

We are excited to bring you coverage of all the episodes in Season 1 with episode recaps and preview articles for each new episode, assisting you to keep up with the unfolding drama.

Here is everything you need to know about Tracker Episode 9, including its release date, time, and where you can watch this.

Where Can I Watch Tracker?

Tracker will be available to watch on CBS for our viewers in the US. The episodes will also stream on the network’s website a day after the initial release.

For our viewers in Canada, CTV will officially host all the new episodes simultaneously as the American counterpart network.

For our readers in the UK and Ireland, Tracker can be streamed with a CBS complimentary pack on FuboTV, YouTube TV, DirecTV Stream Ultimate, or Fubo TV Elite services. Presently, we are not aware of any more streaming options other than those mentioned above for other geographies.

Tracker Season 1 Episode 9 Release Date

Tracker Episode 9 will be released on Sunday 21st April at 10/9c. Expect the runtime to be roughly 45 minutes or thereabouts, which is consistent with the time frame for shows of similar stature on the platform. Since the format isn’t very expendable given the show’s cable network roots, we do not foresee major changes to the runtime.

The show will stick to a weekly release schedule after the first episode has aired, tugging the Sunday airings. The timings for the series will remain the same.

The new episode of Tracker is titled “Aurora.” The episodes will be available to stream with subtitles. Its plot summary reads: “When a widower offers a reward to find his only daughter who disappeared three years ago, Colter’s search leads him into the world of amateur ghost hunting and paranormal activity.”

How Many Episodes Will Tracker Have?

Season 1 of Tracker will have a total of 13 episodes. After the ninth episode has aired, we will have another 4 episodes to go. So the first season is going to last for almost three months if the weekly timeline is kept intact. CBS isn’t expected to make wholesale changes to the airing schedule. However, in case they do, be rest assured that you will find all the updates in these previews.

What happened in Episode 8?

In Episode 8 of Tracker, Colter Shaw is in Camden, Maine, to track down a missing dockworker. Ethan “Sully” Sullivan unexpectedly went missing, not returning home after work. His fiance, Daniella, has called for help. Sully had ongoing issues with fellow dockworker Ryan Hopkins. But they weren’t as serious to warrant such a grave reaction. Moreover, Ryan hasn’t skipped town and is coming to work regularly.

When Bobby and Colter dig further into Sully’s personal life, they find out that he might have been having an affair with old friend Simone Dawson. However, after her body is discovered in her house, Colter and local Sherrif Miller firmly believe Sully is in danger.
