What Happened In Episode 1?

Ashaf and Guideau arrive at a city in search of a witch. They find out she is famous and the town hero when she defeats a dangerous mage who can turn into a shark. Guideau tries to attack her but is blocked. The citizens get angry, so Ashaf quickly rescues Guideau with his magic.

The town was attacked by a witch 400 years ago. She sent a fire to destroy everything, but her curse was sealed off and she was killed. Ashaf notices there’s something wrong with the story, as you can’t seal curses.

Later, we find out that the witch living in the city now is the granddaughter of the one in the story. Her grandmother was actually trying to save everyone from the fire but was misunderstood. So, now, she wants to unseal it and get revenge on the city.

Guideau has a curse on her, but when she kisses the witch she can cure it temporarily. When she does that, she returns to her original body: a masked and jacked man with a mechanical arm. Then, she easily overpowers the witch and captures her.
