The Fire Hunter Season 2 is airing in Japan on WOWOW and other social channels. It is available to stream on Crunchyroll outside of Asian territories.

The Fire Hunter Season 2 Episode 3 Release Date

The Fire Hunter Season 2 Episode 3 will be released on Sunday 28th January at approximately 9am (GMT) / 1am (PT) / 3am (CT). Of course, it’s really dependent on how quickly the platform uploads new episodes. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

The Fire Hunter Season 2 is not available with the dubbing from the release so expect the native Japanese tongue with subtitles to be up first. Dubbing will likely arrive later on down the line.

Season 2 Episode 3 is titled “The Great Tree” and will be 24 minutes long.

What Happened In Episode 2?

In The Fire Hunter Season 2 Episode 2, Koushi interrogates Hibari about the Spiders and the Gods. Hibari says he doesn’t care about them but hopes Koushi’s lightning cannon plan succeeds. After, we cut to Touko at a factory. A girl takes her outside so they can chat. During this time, some boys state they want to take part in the battle against the Spiders. Outside, Touko and her female friend hear something being set off in the distance.

A boy rushes outside and relays a tale about the Spiders he heard from his folks. Meanwhile, Koushi retrieves Kun and Kanata from the food plant and they help him fire the lightning cannon. Before they launch another strike, a female Spider named On arrives and tries to kill Koushi. Fortunately, Roroku, his canine companion, and Kanata stop her. Roroku and Koushi catch up for a bit and On informs them with critical intel about the Spiders’ history and goals.

We cut to Touko arriving at the Okibi estate. She reunites with Kira and Kira plans to take her to her room. Kira’s mother stops them and tells Kira that she shouldn’t maintain her feelings for Koushi. Kira departs to see if Koushi, Kanata, and Hinako are at the factory. However, a man named Kouhachi captures her and tells Kira’s mother and Touko their plans for Kira. Takimi, one of Okibi’s workers stops Kira’s mother from confronting Kouhachi.

The episode closes with the Flickering Flame telling Touko that she’ll lead her to the two dogs’ location.
