The early 2000s saw a popular retro sitcom, That ’70s show that reminded fans of the good old ’70s with a popular friends group of six friends. The show in its 200 episodes over 8 seasons gave fans a new outlook on all things retro and now, years after the sitcom ended, the makers are coming up with a spin-off series titled That ’90s Show. The upcoming American television show is another similar period teen sitcom set during the summer of 1995. That ’90s Show features similar characters to its predecessor, That ’70s Show.
The new spin-off show centres on Leia Forman, the teenage daughter of Eric Forman and Donna Pinciotti who spends the summer of 1995 with her grandparents. While at the same place where he dad grew up and fell in love with her mom, Leia tried forming bonds of her own. The show takes a leap of 20 years from its predecessor and will feature some of the original cast in the upcoming spin-off

The spin-off of the sitcom That ’70s Show is coming back on Netflix as That ’90s Show. The Netflix original will be available to watch globally on the streaming platform with an active subscription.
That ’90s Show Season 1 Release Date
Netflix’s That ’90s Show will release globally on Thursday 19th January at 12:00am (ET) / 8.00am (GMT).
Expect the show to have 10 episodes in its first season with each episode having a run time of 25-30 minutes. Also expect episodes to drop with subtitles too.
How Many Episodes Will That ’90s Show Season 1 Have?
It has been revealed that the first season of That ’90s Show will also have 10 episodes in total. All 10 episodes will release on the same day similar to what Netflix does with most of its shows.
The show will star Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp in their original roles of Red and Kitty Forman. It has been revealed that Topher Grace and Laura Prepon will make a special appearance in the show as Eric Forman and Donna Pinciotti, parents of Leia Forman.
Callie Haverda plays Leia Forman and the teenage group that she is friends with includes Mace Coronel (Jay), Reyn Doi (Ozzie), Maxwell Ace Donovan (Nate), Sam Morelos (Nikki) and Ashley Aufderheide (Gwen).
Not only that but it has also been reported that actors Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and Wilmer Valderrama will make special appearances in this spin-off series as Michael, Jackie and Fez respectively.
