The iconic Netflix horror finally returns with season 2. Before we got Squid Game, Sweet Home had pretty much taken over Netflix Korea with its bite-sized duration, quite different from the usual 16-episode shows, familiar faces and action-packed apocalypse plot.
The misfits of Green Home must put aside their differences and band together to survive the monster apocalypse where an infection doesn’t turn you into a zombie, oh no, it turns you into a superpowerful monster with a taste for humans. Season 1 ends with our favourite survivors escaping Green Home which has finally been overrun. However, it doesn’t bode well for them as the military has entered the picture and has its own set of rules on how to survive.
Season 1 regulars return like Song Kang, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Si-young, Park Gyu-young and Go Min-si. Along with them, there are some new faces such as Yoo Oh-sung, Oh Jung-se, Kim Mu-yeol and Jung Jin-young.

Sweet Home Season 2 will be shown exclusively on Netflix since it is a Netflix Original show. The previous season is also available on the platform.
Sweet Home 2 Episodes Release Date
Sweet Home Season 2 Episodes will all release on Friday 1st December at approximately 12am (GMT) / 7pm (ET). If you miss the premiere time though, they will be available on the platform so don’t worry too much! Netflix is known to release English subtitles immediately.
Expect each episode to be roughly 1 hour long, which is consistent with the time frame for the rest of Netflix K-dramas.
How Many Episodes Will Sweet Home Season 2 Have?
Sweet Home 2 is an 8-episode K-drama, with all episodes releasing on the same day. The good news is that we will also be getting a season 3 sometime next year.
