“Sengoku Youko” is based on a world where there are two major groups: human beings and katawara, who are monsters. Tama loves humanity and promises to defend them from evil, regardless of the cost—even if it means going to war with her own kind—because she is a katawara. However, her sibling Jinka despises people even though he is mostly human. A timid swordsman named Shinsuke joins the siblings and seeks strength training.
The gang makes a solemn promise to vanquish the evildoers responsible for the experiment that would turn mankind into monsters. No matter the cost—fighting an army of enemies is always an option.

What Happens in Episode 10 of Sengoku Youko?
In episode 10, Shinsuke completes his training by surviving an encounter with Senya. Jinka feels his senses are heightened with his fairy eye’s abilities activated. He simply asks Rinzu to submit. For the final part of his training, the Mountain Goddess teleports him directly in front of Jinun. He falls into the stream and goes down the waterfall. Jinun lets him slip by thinking it’s an illusion. Thus, Jinka also completes his work. Tama completes her training by mastering her concentration and crossing the lake.
We see a battle unfold between Jinka and Jinun. Jinka notices his sharpened senses, allowing him to dodge Jinun’s attacks. The spiritual transformation is much stronger, adding a fifth and sixth tail to Jinun. Jinka and Jinun seem evenly matched after which the Mountain Goddess intervenes and encapsulates Jinun and Senya.
