Sakamoto Days: Chapter 161 Release Date
Sakamoto Days: Chapter 161 will be released on Sunday 7th April at approximately 3pm (GMT) / 7am (PT) / 10am (ET). Of course, it’s really dependent on how quickly these chapters are uploaded. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

How Many Chapters Will Sakamoto Days Have?
There’s been no indication that Sakamoto Days is going to end any time soon. However, Suzuki confirmed in a JUMP GIGA 2023: Winter (a quarterly sister magazine to Weekly Shonen Jump) issue back in 2022 that he had already planned an ending for the series. Yet, no specific date or timeframe for the manga’s final chapter has been stated (so far). Therefore, it’s best to expect this series to continue for a year or so.
What Happened In Chapter 160?
Chapter 160 of Sakamoto Days begins where we left off in chapter 159 with Kumanomi and Carolina planning to fight Shishiba and Amane. Shishiba tells Amane he should leave the battlefield but Amane refuses because he feels they should fight together. Kumanomi fights Shishiba while Carolina battles Amane.
Carolina blows into a torch and it transforms it into a weapon called the Gas Saber. Carolina tells Amane it can sever people’s heads and burn them. Amane analyzes Carolina’s weapon and attacks him. Shishiba monitors Amane from afar. This irritates Kumanomi because she wants him to focus on their fight. Shishiba doesn’t want to waste time fighting her.
Kumanomi realizes the temperature in the room is increasing because of Carolina’s weapon. Amane avoids Carolina’s attacks and leads him somewhere. Kumanomi has an idea of what Amane is planning and Shishiba uses the opportunity to attack and kick her to the curve. While Carolina’s distracted, Shishiba punches Carolina through a wall. Shishiba regroups with Amane and praises him for his plan. Amane asks Shishiba for intel about his father.
The chapter closes with Shishiba telling Amane that he killed his father.
